Join us for a Quahog Week Shucking and Tasting Event with freshly harvested quahog stuffies and meet the farmers, fishers, and makers who use the Fresh Harvest Kitchen to process or make their products.

The Fresh Harvest Kitchen, a project of the Southern Rhode Island Conservation District (SRICD), is a federal and state licensed facility which can purchase and process all seafood.  Their mission is to operate a fully licensed commercial processing facility and marketplace to support the business growth of artisanal fishermen, small-scale farmers, and local food businesses, while educating the community about locally abundant and sustainable foods and how to prepare them.
